The Durham - emlyon business school Global Debate will deal with “The Role of Cities in the Smart Mobility Economy” for coping with the urban and peri-urban mobility challenges of the 21st century.
Our debate will discuss the imperative of co-creation among technology companies, cities and policy makers for shaping a sustainable future for integrated mobility systems. The Global Debate will focus on city and industrial experiences related to new business models and technologies in urban mobility (e.g. shared, electric mobility and flying vehicles), paired with the regulatory and acceptance frameworks required for realising the promised benefits in urban settings.
This debate, in particular, will draw city and industrial experiences from the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Initiative, which is part of the wider European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities (EIP-SCC).
